AXS Aseana: The Future-Ready Co-Working Space for Filipino Professionals

 PRESS RELEASE

AXS Aseana’s spacious offices and co-working areas fosters collaboration and connection and supports business growth.

ParaƱaque City, Philippines – The traditional 9-to-5 is rapidly evolving, with more Filipino professionals now preferring remote or hybrid work arrangements. According to a recent study by JobStreet by SEEK, almost seven out of ten Filipino employees now favor flexible or remote setups over traditional office environments– a shift driven by the desire to boost productivity, spark creativity, and achieve better work-life balance.

At the same time, high rental costs make it difficult for startups and small businesses to maintain their dedicated office spaces, driving greater demand for co-working spaces or environments. Responding to this shift is AXS Aseana– a newly launched, fully serviced co-working space in Aseana City, designated to meet the modern workforce’s growing need for flexibility, productivity, and collaboration.

“The rise of Filipino professionals looking for a remote work, decentralized teams, and a place where they can develop their creativity and productivity are the things we considered in launching Aseana City’s newest and redefined co-working space, the AXS Aseana.” said Buds Wenceslao, Chief Executive Officer of DMWAI. “We built this to provide not just desks, but a community and a space where people can collaborate, innovate, and grow even more in a shared environment”

AXS Aseana answers the growing need for remote and flexible work setups, providing a professional environment without the need to overspend on traditional office spaces.

According to Colliers International Philippines, Metro Manila’s office space market is showing signs of recovery in the start of 2025. AXS Aseana enters the scene at a timely moment. As the anticipated disruptions from the upcoming EDSA rehabilitation project are expected to impact daily commutes, different companies are prompted to decentralize their operations.

AXS Aseana features flexible workspace options, from dedicated desks to private offices and conference rooms– along with the essential amenities such as high-speed internet, meeting facilities, and pantry access. The space is thoughtfully designed to support both focused works and collaborative engagements, creating an environment that adapts to different workstyles and business needs.

Strategically located in Aseana City, AXS Aseana offers a timely solution, serving as a convenient satellite hub for professional workers, freelancers, and businesses with teams in the South. With its seamless connectivity to transport links such as LRT station and PITX, Aseana City ensures easy access to daily commuters and mobile professionals. Beyond accessibility, it also offers a vibrant, integrated environment with dining spots, retail hubs, and even wellness centers that are just steps away, creating the ideal work-life balance for today’s professionals.

“This is more than just a space; it’s a platform for growth. At AXS Aseana, we aim to empower professionals by giving them the tools and environment to do their best work,” Wenceslao added.

AXS Aseana is located at the 11th Floor, Aseana II, Bradco Avenue, Aseana City. The facility is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

THE CONJURING: LAST RITES movie review

By: Edgar Allan E. Yu

The Conjuring: Last Rites serves as a poignant farewell to the iconic demon-hunting duo, Ed and Lorraine Warren, portrayed masterfully by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. This film marks the final chapter in their legendary journey, providing a fitting conclusion to their storied legacy. While fans of the franchise may be nostalgic for the earlier installments, it’s essential to recognize how this installment shifts its focus towards family dynamics—specifically highlighting their grown-up daughter and her boyfriend.

There’s no shortage of chilling moments that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The film expertly balances spine-tingling scares with engaging storytelling, making it an absolute thrill to experience it in a cinema setting. Hearing audience reactions adds an extra layer of enjoyment that enhances the overall atmosphere.

Mia Tomlinson and Ben Hardy deliver commendable performances as new additions to the cast, seamlessly integrating into this world of supernatural suspense. While I hold a special place in my heart for the first two Conjuring films, Last Rites stands out as a solid and satisfying conclusion to this beloved franchise. It encapsulates everything we adore about these characters while paving the way for future stories within this universe. Don't miss out on experiencing this cinematic gem; it's truly worth your time !

Horror fans all over the Philippines braved the witching hour on September 3 to catch the very first showing of “The Conjuring: Last Rites,” setting a new record for highest-grossing midnight screening for any movie in the country – a fitting tribute to Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, who are back on the big screen for one last time as real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.

Rated R-16, “Last Rites” has also broken the record for biggest opening for an R-16 movie, previously held by “Final Destination Bloodlines.” This latest installment in the Conjuring franchise now also holds the record for biggest opening day for a horror film of all time in the Philippines, and currently has the second highest-grossing opening day for any movie this year.

“The Conjuring: Last Rites” is the ninth entry in the more than $2 billion theatrical Conjuring universe and is the farewell installment in the fan-favorite horror movie series. Directed by franchise veteran Michael Chaves and produced by franchise architects James Wan and Peter Safran, “Last Rites” delivers another thrilling chapter of the iconic Conjuring cinematic universe, based on real events. Farmiga and Wilson reunite for one last case as Ed and Lorraine Warren in a powerful and spine-chilling addition to the global box office juggernaut.

Filmmakers Wan, Safran and Chaves are all in agreement that Farmiga and Wilson are a big reason that fans keep coming back to the Conjuring universe. “Vera and Patrick have always been the center of these movies,” says Wan, who directed “The Conjuring” 1 and 2, and has been a producer since the second film in the universe. “They have such a great relationship, onscreen and off – they’re such good friends. I think that really comes across and the audience sees how authentic it is… I have always said, ‘They come for the fright and the scares, but they really stick around for Vera and Patrick.’”

Adds producer Safran, “I think the success of the universe has really hinged on the Warrens as a family. That’s why people keep coming back to see the next adventure, the next investigation, the next stage in their lives – it’s because they’ve fallen in love with Ed and Lorraine as portrayed by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.”

Director Chaves says it best: “Vera and Patrick have always been our secret weapon. They’re the heart and soul of these films, and it’s their talent and who they are as people that have shaped these movies from the start.”

Wilson, who has been portraying Ed Warren since the first “Conjuring” in 2013, can’t help feeling nostalgic. “Going back to the first film, I remember thinking, ‘What a gift to be able to do this.’”

Farmiga, who, like Wilson, is a much beloved figure in the horror genre, is looking back as well. “It’s been really fun to grow up through the decades and explore all these sensational cases,” she shares, but adds: “This story is the last act for these two.”
