Disney/Pixar's original family of superheroes are back after 14 years. And it's worth the wait ! Brad Bird, the creator and director of The Incredibles (2004) is back for the sequel. The first movie presented the heroes in an unconventional way - are they really heroes or menace to society ? This one tries to make the heroes super again ! And there's more character development with every member of the family.
This time, Elastigirl is at the forefront of the action. While Mr. Incredible stays at home to be the domestic father. They have family issues, and they also have personal issues, just like real people. Bob Parr has to show that he can be a super dad even when he's just at home dealing with the kids. Helen Parr has to work outside for her family. Violet has teen/girl issues. Dash needs help with his math lessons. And Jack-Jack has several superpowers !
The audience will easily relate with each character. And I'm sure most of them will have a favorite. Mine is Jack-Jack, who is so adorable ! He steals the show everytime he's onscreen !
Featuring the voices of Craig T. Nelson (Bob), Holly Hunter (Helen), Sarah Vowell (Violet), Huck Miller (Dash), Sophia Bush (Voyd), Samuel L. Jackson (Frozone), and Brad Bird as Edna Mode. There's plenty of action, laughter, and touching moments. It's a great film for the whole family ! One thing though, I hope it doesn't take Disney/Pixar another 14 years to make the Incredibles 3. Don't miss this one !
