CREED III Delivers A Powerful And Emotional Punch

Michael B. Jordan has been taking the world by storm. Between his breakout roles in Fruitvale Station, Black Panther and Creed, MBJ has become one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood today.  It's hard to believe that it's been seven years since the first film, yet each installment in this beloved franchise continues to draw viewers and give them something new. While most sequels live or die by the strength of their iconic leading actor, Michael B. Jordan takes it a step further by taking on a directing role in CREED III. His vision and expertise behind the camera gives us an even deeper understanding of his magnetic character Adonis Creed and how he faces extraordinary challenges head-on with courage and strength. 

 

One of the components of CREED III that makes it stand out is its intense fight choreography. Between the captivating camera angles and MBJ's precision in executing each scene, this movie is a thrilling viewing experience. Moreover, with this movie Jordan not only showcases his impressive directing skills but also proves his acting prowess with remarkable character development. Thus, by taking on both directorial and acting roles in CREED III, Michael B. Jordan has achieved excellence on both fronts and managed to exceed all expectations with this spectacularly driven story arc. 

 

Jonathan Majors is a powerhouse when it comes to acting. His portrayal of the villain, Damian Anderson, was especially noteworthy. His presence was ever threatening and he commanded attention with his sheer strength and intimidating aura. He excelled in his role as a formidable enemy who Adonis had to face in the ring. He drove the story forward with his formidable presence and menacing actions. 

 

I also enjoyed the family dynamics that this threequel has. Those scenes with Adonis and his wife Bianca (Tessa Thompson), his mom (Phylicia Rashad), and especially his daughter (Mila Davis Kent) bring heart and relatability to the story of CREED III.   

  

In conclusion, Michael B. Jordan in CREED III once again exceeded expectations, showing us that he's ready for the challenge of leading his own franchise and that he's more than capable of delivering an emotional, and powerful film. It has all the ingredients for greatness—a deep story arc, exceptional acting, epic fight scenes, great music and brilliant camera angles.
