DESPICABLE ME 4 - Still Mischievous and Hilarious

By : Edgar Allan Yu

Despicable Me 4 is a must-see for fans of the franchise, as Gru and the mischievous minions return with a bang. While the film introduces several new characters, including Gru Jr, a mini-me version of Gru, Lucky the goat, Poppy the new neighbor, and the villainous Maxine Le Mal, the core of the story remains true to the series' beloved formula.

The action sequences and animation are as impressive as ever, with the introduction of the Mega Minions and their super-powered antics adding an extra layer of excitement. However, the film does suffer from an overly convoluted plot, with many characters being underutilized. I wished they focused more on Gru's kids.

Despite these minor flaws, Despicable Me 4 is a thoroughly enjoyable cinematic experience that will delight audiences of all ages. The beloved characters, combined with the signature humor and heartwarming moments, make this a must-see for fans and newcomers alike. Do not miss this latest installment in the Despicable Me franchise. It's something the whole family will enjoy !
