Academy Award-winning director Taika Waititi takes us on an unforgettable journey “Klara and the Sun.” The film is based on the bestselling novel from Nobel Prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro, and stars Jenna Ortega as Klara, an Artificial Friend (AF) who yearns to be homed. Klara gets chosen by Josie (Mia Tharia) who convinces her mother (Amy Adams) to take the AF in. So begins a story of loss and healing.
